“Salam” means peace in the Arabic language. We have a four-fold vision for this ministry:
1) To work among existing Arab Christians to promote the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ among the people of Israel and the Palestinian Territories.
2) To bridge the gap with the western world and establish new relationships between Arab Christians and believers around the world.
3) To raise overall awareness about the presence of Arab Christians in the Holy Land in particular and around the world in general.
4) Help support the believing evangelical presence in the Holy Land and encourage further growth. Our hope is that S.A.L.A.M. will be a future vehicle to encourage the retention and growth of current evangelicals (ie, through partnering with local ministries to provide leadership training for effective church growth, etc...)
Through these efforts we hope to reclaim the Holy Land for Christ.
